Job Description
Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Manage clients portfolio of accounts
- Answer queries and advise clients effectively and promptly
- Bookkeeping for clients monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts, preparing of full set accounts, financial statements, including consolidation
- Prepare and filing of GST
- Calculation of corporate tax and filing of Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI), Form C, Form C-S
- Prepare reporting documents i.e. financial statements in XBRL format to the relevant authority (ACRA) as required, MAS Annual Declaration
- Liaising with IRAS officers on outstanding and disputed issues
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
- Any other management and corporate services
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA equivalent
- At least 2-3 Years of working experience in the related field (full set of accounts/audit) is required for this position.
- Required Skills: Microsoft Office, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero
- Familiarity with investment-related accounts and MAS incentive schemes
- Able to work under pressure / tight deadlines
- Able to handle clients queries in a timely and professional manner
- Able to work independently but with strong team ethics
