Accountant

Accounting & Finance

- Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bankreconciliation and month-end closing

- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reportsand cash flow forecasts

- Monitor daily sales takings, credit card settlements, andmarketplace payouts (Shopee/Lazada, etc.)

- Track inventory costing, stock valuation, and cost ofgoods sold (COGS)

- Process staff claims, petty cash, and supplier payments ina timely manner

Tax & Compliance

- Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance withIRAS requirements

- Assist in corporate tax computation and liaise with taxagents/auditors

- Ensure proper documentation and filing in accordance withstatutory requirements

Retail Operations Support

- Reconcile POS system sales with accounting records

- Manage supplier invoices, debit notes, credit notes, andprice protection claims

- Support consignment, trade-in, and promotional accountingmatters

- Monitor inventory discrepancies and work closely withoperations team

Audit & Reporting

- Assist in annual audit preparation and provide supportingschedules

- Maintain proper accounting records and internal controls

- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requiredby management

Requirements / Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience(retail experience preferred)

- Knowledge of GST and Singapore accounting standards

- Familiar with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks,MYOB, SAP) and Excel

- Experience handling inventory-heavy retail businesses isan advantage
