Accountant

The job holder will be responsible for first level support to SAP end user and ensuring that monthly closing is performed on a timely and accurate manner and performing margin analysis of the assigned profit centers, as well as creating and maintaining project codes. The Accountant is also responsible for preparing the quarterly GST returns and assisting on Yearly Special Project Audit

SAP's Controlling (CO) Key User:-

• Responsible for providing first level support to end user
• To provide training to new users
• To provide relevant information / training to the users after system change and/or improvement
• Liaison with SMEs, consultants with any CO issues
• To follow up on outstanding SAP's CO issues with other departments / AH
• To manage SAP All-In-One Maintenance (JIRA Ticket)
• Any other SAP's CO issues

Perform invoice costing for the following profit centers:

• Aircraft (New & Used)
• MRO (MRO Aircraft + MRO Component repairs & PBH)
• Multi Services Contract (included Connected Services, EAST, Technical Assistance, CAMO, Service Bulletin and Technical Documents)
• Training
• Support Engineering
• S&S Misc - Other
• Other Activities (included the tracking of SLA costs against budget)
• Manage SAP Project Builder
• Update of project code listing for changes, if any
• Project Budget and System Status Management for all assigned profit centers
• Check request for cancellation of invoice / credit note raised by other departments
• Check and process costing forms (e.g. cost absorption, warranty absorption forms)
• GST Reporting: Preparer for Quarterly GST reporting
• Liaise with External Auditor for the Queries pertaining to Project's GPM Variance Analysis
• Assist in Yearly Master Costing Sheet
• Assist in Enterprise Risk Management
• Assist in Business Planning
• Assist in Yearly Audit and Special Project Audit (Taiwan Multiservice Contract)
• Assist in any other duties assigned by superior

Month-end closing

Margin analysis and investigation for the following profit centers:

• Aircraft (New & Used)
• MRO (MRO Aircraft + MRO Component repairs & PBH)
• Multi Services Contract (included Connected Services, EAST, Technical Assistance, CAMO, Service Bulletin and Technical Documents)
• Training
• Support Engineering
• S&S Misc - Other
• Other Activities (included the tracking of SLA costs against budget)
• Review and maintain deferred income, accruals and WIP for all assigned profit centers
• Prepare Monthly Margin Report (including Taiwan Multiservice Contract)
• To run monthly SAP Controlling (CO) closing steps
• To follow up on outstanding Costing / Controlling issues with other departments

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent
• 3 to 4 years relevant working experience
• Knowledge and interest in project costing would be an advantage
• Proficient with Google Sheet, Microsoft Excel, especially in terms of data analysis
• Meticulous and possesses attention to detail
• Able to work well within a team and has initiative
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving mind with good analytical skills
