ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Reconciling the client's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
• Managing income and expenditure accounts.
• Generating the client's financial reports using income and expenditure data.
• Keeping a check on the client's finances based on financial status.
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations follow government regulations.
• Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel.
• Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.
