About this role

We are looking for a proactive and motivated accountant to manage our company's financial activities, support both financial and management reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, as well as a deep understanding of AI and its applications in financial processes. This role will focus on leveraging AI technologies to streamline and enhance the efficiency of our financial operations. It offers a unique opportunity to practice AI-enabled finance, freeing up time from manual tasks to engage in high-value financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Major:

• Manage Full Set of accounting

• Prepare financial information for monthly management review of the business

• Prepare quarterly GST returns and assist in tax matters

• Prepare monthly payroll and assist in HR matters

• Provide support to the Financial Controller, carry out the financial control function of the respective businesses ensuring all Local & Company financial governance implemented

• Coordinate with the IT department to implement AI-based automation solutions to accounting tasks and reduce manual work

Detail:

• Report to Financial Controller

• Ensure timely accurate financial information's provided to relevant internal and external stakeholders

• Liaise closely with other departments including Payment & Product, Sales, Airline, Technology teams, and other colleagues as required

• Assist in cash management including processing withdrawal customer deposits and top-up vendor deposits

• Work with Product and Technology team to develop and maintain the automation tools in finance

• Identify opportunities for further automation and efficiency improvements in financial operations.

Requirements:

• Location: Based in Singapore

• Strong self-starter - proactive in identifying opportunities and running with them

• Strong collaborator - able to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels

• Fast learner - AI and process automation is a fast-growing field that requires willingness to learn

• Analytical and problem solver - able to tackle a problem by logically break it down

• Professional qualification or Bachelor/Diploma in accounting

• Bilingual in English and Chinese with good written and verbal communication skills to work with English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Finance & Accounting field

• Experience in full set accounting preferred

• Experience in Payroll/HR matters advantageous

• Proficiency of accounting software (XERO will be an advantage) and basic knowledge of AI in finance application

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Responsible, meticulous and analytical
