This role supports business units from a financial operations perspective and is responsible for the preparation, review, and timely delivery of accurate financial reports for assigned entities, including subsidiaries and joint ventures, both locally and overseas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and timely month-end closing for subsidiaries and joint venture companies.
- Participate in year-end audits and manage all audit-related matters.
- Review budget submissions and tax computations based on information provided by relevant departments for submission to Group Reporting.
- Provide accounting support and services to joint venture partners or investors.
- Prepare management reports for Senior Management, JV partners, and investors.
- Supervise and guide a small team of 1-2 members.
- Handle daily operational queries and requests from managers and external stakeholders.
- Review management accounts prepared by overseas accounting agents.
- Prepare annual corporate tax filings.
Requirements
- ACCA qualification or Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial closing and reporting.
- Knowledge of GST and tax provisions.
- Experience in the property industry and SAP will be an added advantage.
- Supervisory experience or basic leadership skills is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
