About Our Client
This company is a well-established player in the insurance industry focused on providing commercial property protection.
Job Description
- Recording and posting journal entries
- Completing balance sheet account reconciliations
- Preparing annual statutory financial statements
- Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and internal control requirements
- Compiling and providing information for external audits and regulatory reporting
- Supporting tax reporting by supplying data for filings, including GST/VAT and other statutory requirements
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is desirable.
- At-least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Insurance industry is advantageous
