WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Work closely with the internal shared service center / Global Business Services (GBS) team to plan and execute various finance process improvement initiatives, such as standardisation, automation, and strengthening control design.
  • Support year‑end group reporting and statutory audit, including preparation of audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders and auditors.
  • Support the closure and clean‑up of accounting ledgers arising from the amalgamation completed in 2025, including review of balances, mapping, and alignment with post‑amalgamation reporting requirements.
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned related to financial reporting, internal controls, or process optimisation.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience in a corporate environment or audit firm, with exposure to full‑set or general accounting.
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and practical experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end/year‑end closing processes.
  • Proven experience in finance process improvement and basic project management (e.g., documenting processes, coordinating changes, following up on action plans).
  • Good understanding of internal controls and governance frameworks within a finance function.
  • Proficiency in Excel and common ERP/accounting systems (e.g., JDE, Onestream, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with good communication and stakeholder management abilities, including working with shared service centers.
