Job Description
The Account Manager (Telco) is responsible for promoting, selling, and optimizing BICS international wholesale voice and mobile data solutions across an assigned customer portfolio. This role requires strong commercial acumen, technical understanding of telco services, and the ability to manage complex negotiations and cross‑functional coordination.
You will work closely with in‑country partners, internal teams, and regional stakeholders to drive revenue growth, ensure timely delivery of solutions, and provide insights on market, regulatory, and technology developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell BICS international wholesale voice and mobile data solutions to assigned customers.
- Negotiate and conclude voice traffic exchange agreements with in‑country partners to create value and improve profitability.
- Optimize and retain the existing product portfolio (voice and/or mobile data) across assigned accounts.
- Sell new and complex mobile data solutions, including signalling, roaming, and messaging in line with commercial strategy.
- Manage the full cycle from contract negotiation to solution delivery, coordinating with legal, finance, product management, and technical teams.
- Provide insights on market, regulatory, and technology changes relevant to assigned markets.
- Achieve and exceed sales, buying, and customer acquisition objectives.
