The Role and What You'll Do:

We are seeking an Account Manager to support with account management and the planning and execution of integrated digital campaigns and content creation with a focus on driving audience growth on digital accounts for sports clients. This position plays a key role in the client communications, budgeting, developing project timelines, vetting, and managing partners, and coordination of information between stakeholders. This person is responsible for working with internal team leads to pull together all components of a project, including but not limited to strategy, creative, and production, and then creating client-facing materials for reviews and approvals. The ideal candidate must have excellent communications and organizational skills and be solutions-oriented. They should pride themselves at being excellent in relationship building, communications, time management, multitasking, and problem solving. They should be adaptable and able to wear many hats working with a variety of clients across a wide range of industries with varying needs.

The Account Manager is responsible for working effectively with both client and internal account teams to flawlessly deliver programs that achieve client results against established strategic & creative objectives, timelines and financial goals. The ideal candidate should have at least 4+ years of relevant experience in integrated marketing, be self-motivated, thrive under pressure, work well in a fast-paced competitive industry, and have a passion for sports and digital.

  • Serve as point of contact with clients for day to day responsibilities
  • Directly supporting VPs and Directors of account service
  • Oversee digital content and campaign execution. From planning to publishing ensuring alignment with brand strategy, tone, and objectives
  • Manage the performance and development of content executives across markets, providing leadership, feedback, and mentorship
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders from around the world, both internally and externally as this is a global account
  • Researches and understands the brand, its category and its competitors to provide added value for the client while staying well-informed on marketing and media trends
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of social content calendars, campaigns, and community engagement strategies
  • Ensure all client deliverables including briefs, decks, reports, and presentations are polished, strategic, and insight-driven
  • Influences the development of the highest quality of creative work by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand and demonstrating strong creative judgment and basic strategic recommendations.
  • Manages and presents project timelines, and calendars for client approvals
  • Provides written weekly status and call reports following meetings to ensure client and agency are aligned
  • Champion digital and social media best practices, fostering innovation in how brands engage fans, followers, and communities in sport
  • Manages project communications, ensuring that any issues, changes or required performances that impact the project are documented and addressed with the project team
  • Compiles post-campaign, weekly and monthly reports whilst liasing with internal team to create as well as presenting externally.

You Have These:

  • 4+ years experience in digital and social media campaigns and content creation for social ideally within an agency or sports marketing environment
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, community engagement, and platform best practices across different Asian markets
  • Experience working with creators, athletes, and influencers to drive engagement and reach
  • Excellent focus, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional client communication and relationship management skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Skilled at creating and managing budgets
  • Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills, while self-managing priorities and commitments
  • Ability to pro-actively anticipate obstacles and create solutions
  • Must possess a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Willing and able to work nonstandard work hours and weekends as required (this is not a 9 to 5 job)!
  • Deep passion for sports, football, culture, and entertainment, with a pulse on emerging trends in fan engagement and digital storytelling
