Job Description
- Lead and develop a team of sales, account management and customer service professionals to achieve commercial objectives.
- Define, monitor and improve key performance metrics including revenue, customer satisfaction and sales forecasting accuracy.
- Oversee strategic customer portfolios across high-technology industries, ensuring strong long-term client partnerships.
- Act as the primary commercial escalation point for complex negotiations, contractual discussions and business-critical issues.
- Identify new market opportunities and growth areas within advanced manufacturing and technology sectors.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations and supply chain teams to ensure customer commitments are aligned with operational capabilities
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Account Manager Should Have
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Business or a related discipline with strong technical understanding.
- 5+ years of leadership experience within a B2B sales, commercial or account management environment.
- Proven track record within precision engineering, advanced manufacturing, mechatronics or high-tech industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing strategic customer relationships and revenue growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities with experience engaging senior decision-makers.
- Data-driven mindset with experience improving commercial processes, forecasting and performance management.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, project-based manufacturing environment
