The Role
We're looking for an Account Manager who can operate as both a client lead and a growth driver. This is not a coordination role. You will take ownership of client relationships, campaign performance, and strategic direction while actively contributing to business growth across both existing accounts and new pitches. You will be expected to think beyond execution, anticipate client needs, and connect media strategy to real business outcomes, while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-driven campaigns. This role suits someone who is confident in managing stakeholders, comfortable presenting ideas, and motivated by impact in a high-accountability environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Client relationship management
- Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building deep and trust-based relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients business goals, challenges, and competitive landscape to proactively anticipate needs
- Lead all client communications independently such as strategy reviews, status meetings, escalation calls, and day-to-day correspondence
- Act as the internal champion for client priorities, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams
- Proactively manage client expectations during campaign, performance challenges, or shifting priorities
Campaign oversight & project management
- Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle across planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Media Planning, Ad Operations, KOLs, partners) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Monitor campaign performance and work closely with Ad Operations to identify issues and drive optimisation
- Translate campaign performance into clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations for clients
Digital marketing & strategic advisory
- Advise clients on performance media strategy, channel allocation, and emerging platform opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities and challenges, translating them into actionable strategies
- Lead the development of client-facing presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations
- Proactively share market trends, platform updates, and industry insights to position the agency as a strategic partner
Business growth & team collaboration
- Play an active role in new business pitches, contributing to strategy development, proposal building, and client presentations
- Partner with Business Development and Media Planning teams to develop compelling, insight-led proposals
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts, aligning recommendations to client business outcomes
- Maintain visibility on account performance and revenue growth, contributing to pipeline and forecasting discussions
What We're Looking For
- 4 - 6 years of experience in account management or project management within an agency environment
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related discipline
- Proven track record of managing client relationships independently and delivering campaigns to a high standard
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and performance media — including paid social, paid search, programmatic, and analytics
- Commercially minded: you understand how your work connects to business outcomes for both clients and the agency
- Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills to engage clients confidently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to coordinate multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Analytically minded, with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Self-motivated, curious, and energised by a fast-paced environment
