Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Account Manager to manage strategic client accounts across Southeast Asia and other key markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating cross-functional support, and ensuring high customer satisfaction throughout the partnership lifecycle.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and experience in fintech, payments, remittance, banking, or digital financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic client accounts and partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationship management and ongoing account support.
- Develop account growth strategies to increase transaction volumes, revenue opportunities, and customer retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, compliance, product, and technology to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients and provide insights on performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Lightnet's payment and financial infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction, resolve escalations promptly, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Support contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and partnership expansions.
- Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
- Stay informed about industry developments in cross-border payments, digital assets, fintech regulations, and regional market dynamics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in account management, client success, business development, or partnership management.
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, remittance, or financial services is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and data-driven account management practices.
- Knowledge of Southeast Asian financial ecosystems and cross-border payment flows is a plus.
- Fluency in English required additional Asian language capabilities are advantageous
