Our client is a leading global digital platform seeking an Account Manager with a strong background in B2B SAAS or Business Messaging products to manage a portfolio of clients across Indonesia
This is a 6-Month Contract Position covering the Indonesia Market mainly. Candidate must be fluent in Bahasa Malay or Indonesian.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of SMB and mid-market clients across Indonesia , with a primary focus on business messaging and paid messaging solutions.
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, advising on how messaging platforms (e.g. Messaging API and non-marketing paid messaging) can drive revenue, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and activation of messaging use cases, particularly among current advertisers.
- Leverage data, insights, and platform capabilities to recommend practical, revenue-driving messaging strategies aligned to client business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (sales, product, operations, and support) to ensure smooth execution and strong client outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end account lifecycle, including pipeline tracking, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization of client adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, B2B sales, product specialist, or enterprise-facing roles within a tech, SaaS, or platform-driven environment.
- Proven experience working with business messaging, enterprise solutions, or complex B2B products (advertising experience is a plus but not the core focus).
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required.
- Strong ability to interpret data and translate insights into commercial recommendations and client impact.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, navigating longer sales cycles, and operating across multiple markets and cultures.
