Account Manager / Senior Account Executive (Media, Content & Influencer Campaigns)
About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager or Senior Account Executive to support the planning, coordination and delivery of integrated media and social campaigns for a portfolio of clients.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, keeping projects organised, and working closely with internal teams to deliver campaigns that are on time, on brief and aligned with measurable business objectives.
You will be involved across the full campaign lifecycle, from taking briefs and developing recommendations to coordinating execution, tracking performance and preparing reports. The role will work closely with media, planning, digital, social, creative and production teams depending on the needs of each campaign.
The successful candidate should be confident in managing day-to-day client communications, working with media partners and vendors, coordinating internal stakeholders, and turning campaign data into useful insights. For more senior candidates, there will also be opportunities to guide junior team members and contribute to team development.
Key Responsibilities
Media Planning & Campaign Management
- Support the development and execution of media plans across both traditional and digital channels.
- Assist in translating client briefs into clear campaign recommendations.
- Contribute to channel planning across platforms such as TV, print, outdoor, radio, digital, social and other relevant media channels.
- Coordinate with media owners, publishers, platforms and vendors to execute campaign plans.
- Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, budgets and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain campaign flowcharts, cost summaries, media schedules and performance trackers.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates to internal teams and clients.
- Prepare interim and post-campaign reports, including key learnings and recommendations for future activity.
- Review market trends, competitor activity, consumer insights and media research to support planning recommendations.
- Assist in preparing client proposals, presentations and pitch materials in collaboration with senior team members.
Social Media, Content & Influencer Campaigns
- Support the planning and management of social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant channels.
- Stay updated on emerging social trends, content formats and platform developments that may be relevant for clients.
- Work with internal teams to develop content themes, engagement ideas and campaign mechanics based on client objectives.
- Coordinate the development of social content, including copy, visuals and supporting assets.
- Support community management planning, including the creation and updating of response guidelines and escalation processes.
- Manage social campaign mechanics such as contests, giveaways and engagement-led activations.
- Prepare monthly social media performance reports with observations and recommendations.
- Maintain influencer databases, including profiles, rates, audience information and suitability for client campaigns.
- Source and recommend suitable influencers or content creators based on brand fit, audience relevance and campaign objectives.
- Prepare influencer briefs and coordinate deliverables, timelines, drafts, approvals and reporting.
- Track influencer campaign performance and prepare summary reports.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for Senior Account Executive level, or around 5 years of experience for Account Manager level.
- Prior experience in an advertising, media, digital, creative or integrated agency environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital media channels.
- Comfortable working with social media platforms, influencer campaigns and content-led activations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok and other digital or social advertising platforms would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-ups.
- Confident in liaising with clients, vendors, media partners and internal stakeholders.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable reviewing campaign numbers and turning data into meaningful insights.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in delivering work to a high standard.
- Curious, articulate and confident in presenting ideas or recommendations.
- Able to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced campaign environment.
