  • Promote, develop, and implement the company's products to both existing and new customers.
  • Ensure consistent and effective after-sales support, including troubleshooting, technical assistance, sample preparation, and new product development activities.
  • Align with the global team and ensure instructions from the Global Account Leader are executed accurately.
  • Act as the key interface between customers and the company's design/technical teams.
  • Lead and facilitate key customer meetings related to projects and business development.
  • Serve as the overall owner of key accounts in Singapore, including project management responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 4-5 years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry.

Job Requirements

  • Willingness to travel overseas for business trips when required.
  • Preferably possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good presentation ability.
  • Effective negotiation skills while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Experience in backend test products (e.g., testing sockets/interfaces) is an advantage.
  • Ability to provide weekly reports and collaborate with the Japan technical team.
  • Proficiency in Japanese is essential for communication with global teams.

Role Scope & Leadership Expectations

This role extends beyond day-to-day account management and is designed to develop future leaders within the organization.

The Account Manager is expected to:

  • Adopt a broader business and group-level perspective beyond individual account responsibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Japan Headquarters, group companies, and key suppliers to ensure effective cross-border alignment.
  • Balance local business needs with global strategy, governance, and long-term objectives.
  • Take ownership in ambiguous or complex situations by identifying issues, structuring problems, and proposing solutions proactively.
  • Contribute to decision-making that impacts customers, organizational performance, risk management, and internal resources.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential by taking on expanded responsibilities such as project leadership, mentoring junior team members, or representing the Singapore entity in regional/global initiatives.
