Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage full set accounts, AP/AR, financial reporting, and SkillsFuture (TPG) claims administration.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work in a fast-paced education / training environment and is looking to grow in a role with both operational and process improvement exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Full Set Accounts
- Manage full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR)
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Handle student fees, corporate billing, and SkillsFuture receivables
- Monitor outstanding payments and AR ageing reports
- Reconcile revenue between LMS/CRM systems and accounting records
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process supplier invoices and staff claims
- Ensure timely and accurate payments with proper documentation
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with FRS, GST, and IRAS requirements
TPG / SkillsFuture Claims
- Manage Training Partners Gateway (TPG) submissions
- Process SkillsFuture funding claims and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Ensure accuracy of attendance and supporting records
Process Improvement
- Improve finance SOPs and internal controls
- Support automation using Xero / QuickBooks / Excel / Google Sheets
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA
- 1–2 years of accounting / finance experience
- Experience in full set accounts, AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with Singapore FRS, GST, and IRAS regulations
- Proficient in accounting systems (Xero / QuickBooks / ERP) and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience in education, training, or SME environment is an advantage
