Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger transactions
Preparing monthly financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Liaising with clients, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve accounting-related queries and issues
Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Accounts Executive or Bookkeeping role, preferably within a professional services or consultancy environment
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero or MYOB
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
Proactive, organised and able to work independently to meet deadlines
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
