Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Assist in monitoring project costs, tracking sub-contractor payments, and processing progress claims.
- Perform monthly closing of accounts, including bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
- Handle GST submissions, prepare schedules for corporate tax and audit purposes, and ensure compliance with local accounting standards.
- Support the team with daily finance-related administrative tasks and maintain organized filing systems for project documentation.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., LCCI or ACCA equivalent).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience handling full-set accounts, preferably in the construction or project-based industry.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with progress claims, retentions, and construction-specific tax/compliance requirements is a strong advantage.
- Meticulous, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
