Job Summary

Join insightsoftware's APAC Sales team as an Account Executive based in Singapore. Drive new business growth and manage the full sales lifecycle across Southeast Asia by delivering value-based SaaS solutions that address complex finance and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement territory and account plans to increase market penetration across Southeast Asia
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities using outbound and inbound sales strategies
  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Engage finance and executive stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored SaaS solutions
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and procurement processes effectively
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and CRM data integrity
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning to inform sales strategies

Required competencies and certifications

  • 5-8+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing full sales cycles and closing complex deals
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior business leaders
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and stakeholders concurrently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market organizations
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, ERP, or CFO-related solutions
  • Familiarity with account-based selling and structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth sales environments
  • Additional Southeast Asian language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai) to support regional communication needs
