We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing APAC Gaming Advertising Solutions team, reporting to our Director of Gaming Sales, APAC. This role is based in Singapore and will focus on driving advertising revenue across the Greater China Region, with a primary emphasis on mobile gaming opportunities. This is an ideal role for someone who understands the Greater China mobile ecosystem and wants to help game companies connect with highly engaged player communities on Discord.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospect, source, and close new marketing opportunities with mobile game publishers, developers, and media agencies across the Greater China Region to achieve revenue and account growth goals
- Build and deepen strategic relationships with key decision makers across Greater China, including advertisers, agencies, and ecosystem partners, while navigating regional business practices and cross border commercial dynamics
- Identify and unlock mobile first opportunities by understanding client growth objectives, launch strategies, user acquisition priorities, and community engagement goals
- Create compelling sales presentations and proposals using internal and external data, with clear relevance to Greater China mobile gaming audiences and advertiser needs
- Become an expert in Discord's advertising solutions and tailor recommendations to suit a wide range of client objectives across mobile gaming, including performance, launch, engagement, and community led campaigns
- Partner closely with internal cross functional teams including account management, marketing, measurement, product, and operations to deliver strong client outcomes and long term growth
- Represent Discord credibly in the market through client meetings, industry events, and partner discussions across Singapore, Greater China, and other relevant APAC markets
What you should have
- 5+ years of direct experience in digital advertising, ad sales, mobile marketing, media, or business development within the mobile gaming ecosystem
- Strong experience working with mobile game publishers, developers, or agencies across Greater China, with a solid understanding of the regional market landscape and commercial decision making
- Business fluency in Mandarin and English, with the ability to operate effectively across clients and stakeholders in both languages
- Proven track record of delivering against revenue targets, building pipeline, and closing strategic accounts in a fast moving environment
- Strong knowledge of the mobile gaming advertising ecosystem, including user acquisition, performance marketing, brand campaigns, measurement, and ad tech
- Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and translate client objectives into clear commercial opportunities
