Account Executive

The Opportunity

FleishmanHillard has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Executive to join our team in Singapore. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with top Singapore and regional/global clients, help companies to weave together a narrative that tells their story in an authentic way, put your solid research, writing, and client management skills to use. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Drive the public relations strategy and output for our clients with confidence, clarity, and a good understanding of relevant industry terminology, trends, frameworks, and regulations.
• Develop and implement impactful and creative integrated communications programs across a an exciting portfolio of B2B, corporate and consumer briefs ensuring that clients strategic objectives are met.
• Contribute to new business pitches.
• Develop and edit high quality written materials, including media correspondence, influencer pitches, bylines, and speeches.
• Project Management; manage projects by setting priorities and maintaining deadlines.
• Build relationships with regional and national media.
• Work effectively in a team and mentor juniors.

Key Requirements

• 2 years+ experience driving corporate or consumer communications for multinational, regional, and local clientele. Agency experience preferred.
• Excellent client service skills, strong organizational skills, and creativity in problem solving.
• Superb research and writing skills; experience drafting client and press materials.
• Media relations skills; Experience working with regional and national media.
• Provide counsel to clients across multiple business units and stakeholders.
• Be a mentor of the junior team and interns in day-to-day work.
• Be creative and open to new ideas.
• Ability to execute programs for clients across social and earned media platforms.
• Ability to communicate clearly and focus on results, positive and professional disposition in every situation.
• Collaborative, eager to learn and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
• Must have the right to work in Singapore and be able to take on a six-month full-time contract.
