Bunker Transaction Reconciliation

  • Reconcile BDNs, mass flow meter (MFM) data, supplier invoices, surveyor reports, and internal order confirmations.

  • Match bunker purchase quantities with sales quantities and investigate discrepancies.

  • Assist with resolving quantity or quality claim documentation in coordination with operations and traders.

General Accounting Support

  • Record journal entries for bunker purchases, cost allocations, and operational expenses.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, including fuel inventory and bunkering-related accruals.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and maritime regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain organized files of BDNs, contracts, supplier statements, and delivery records.

  • Assist in preparing reports for auditors, tax authorities, and management.

Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with the bunkering operations and trading teams to verify delivery data, pricing, and customer instructions.

  • Review port and bunker barge operational expenses for accuracy and completeness.

  • Provide finance support for operational and commercial decision-making.

Reporting

  • Prepare daily and weekly financial reports, including cashflow updates and inventory cost summaries.

  • Assist with fuel inventory valuation and variance analysis.

  • Support management with ad-hoc analysis and reports as required.

Qualifications

Required:
