Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to lead strategic client engagement within the BFSI sector, with a primary focus on Private Sector Banking in Singapore. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth, deepening executive relationships, expanding wallet share, and ensuring delivery excellence across complex, multi-year engagements.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, trusted advisor, and growth champion; skilled at balancing farming and hunting strategies while fostering long-term client partnerships and sustainable business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Account Management & Revenue Growth
Account Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute client-specific account strategies aligned to broader industry and practice priorities.
- Engage client leadership and analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Build comprehensive annual account plans including revenue targets, solution strategies, and engagement activities.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and drive expansion into new solution areas.
- Create forward-looking resource plans aligned to projected growth.
Revenue Expansion & Share of Wallet Growth
- Leverage market intelligence and competitive insights to prioritize offerings and solution positioning.
- Lead and close strategic sales pursuits to secure long-term revenue streams.
- Partner with service lines, pre-sales, and solution teams from RFP through delivery to ensure client-aligned proposals.
- Conduct periodic account intelligence reviews to introduce innovative and differentiated solutions.
- Incorporate digital, cloud, and next-generation technology propositions into account growth strategies.
Pipeline Development & New Business Acquisition
- Develop and execute market penetration plans through industry forums, executive networking, and direct outreach.
- Engage senior stakeholders to shape early-stage opportunities.
- Participate in branding initiatives, executive roundtables, and innovation-led workshops.
- Leverage alliances and ecosystem partnerships to build joint value propositions.
- Identify acquisition-led or innovation-driven solutions that align with client needs.
Executive Relationship Management
- Establish and nurture relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive steering discussions.
- Own proposal development, negotiations, and commercial structuring for new engagements.
- Act as the single point of contact for the client across geographies.
- Drive proactive issue resolution and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Monitor collections and ensure financial discipline aligned to contractual commitments.
2. Delivery Oversight & Operational Excellence
- Oversee execution of engagements to ensure adherence to quality, process, and governance standards.
- Review delivery dashboards, KPIs, and financial metrics regularly.
- Anticipate risks and proactively resolve escalations.
- Partner with delivery leadership to optimize costs and improve service standards.
- Drive demand forecasting and workforce planning aligned to client growth.
- Ensure timely invoicing and revenue realization as per contractual terms.
- Promote delivery-led growth by identifying opportunities for value-added services.
3. Solution & Innovation Leadership
- Position strategic solutions through executive presentations, workshops, and industry forums.
- Ensure solution roadmaps align with client business transformation objectives.
- Provide customer and competitive insights to solution teams for new offerings development.
- Represent the organization in industry conferences and thought leadership platforms.
- Introduce new go-to-market offerings and emerging technology solutions to clients.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in account management, client engagement, or sales leadership within BFSI (Private Banking preferred).
- Proven track record of managing large, strategic accounts and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong executive presence with experience engaging CXO-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation, cloud ecosystems, and next-generation technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and close high-value deals.
- Strong financial acumen and delivery governance capabilities.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.
