Role Overview:

The Account Executive is a key sales role responsible for acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of products or services. They are tasked with understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals. This role requires a strong ability to build relationships, understand market trends, and manage the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within a defined market or territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Present products, services, and solutions to potential clients through presentations, meetings, and demonstrations.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide excellent post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and progress in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and success.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to stay ahead of sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:2–5 years in sales, business development, or account management roles.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales depending on the organization's model.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Technical Skills:Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to understand and articulate product features and benefits to clients.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools may be required.
  • Soft Skills:Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Solution-oriented mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
Work Environment:
  • Office-based or hybrid, working with sales teams, marketing, and customer support. The role involves a mix of client meetings, presentations, cold calling, and administrative duties related to the sales cycle.
