Role Description

Manage and develop client relationships while driving business growth through effective account management, customer engagement, and strategic sales initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating project delivery, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, product, operations, customer success, finance, and cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and achieve revenue and retention objectives. The role also involves preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, monitoring account performance, managing sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, resolving client issues, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, analyzing market trends, and driving continuous improvements in customer experience and account growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Management, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, business development, customer success, client relationship management, or commercial operations roles.
  • Strong understanding of account management principles, customer relationship management (CRM), sales lifecycle management, pipeline development, contract negotiation, customer retention, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Experience managing key accounts, developing client proposals, conducting business reviews, coordinating cross-functional projects, and delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, or similar customer relationship management systems.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics, reporting tools, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms for monitoring sales performance and customer insights is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand customer needs, identify business opportunities, and develop effective commercial solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting product launches, strategic partnerships, customer onboarding, contract renewals, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise account management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, SaaS business models, enterprise software, digital marketing, or industry-specific sales practices is desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Salesforce Administrator, HubSpot Sales Software Certification, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent sales and account management qualifications are considered an advantage.
