The Account Director for the Public Sector is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for steering Handshakes mission-critical partnerships with the Singapore Government, Statutory boards and relevant GLCs.
You will act as a strategic advisor to ministries and statutory boards, ensuring our AI-driven investigative tools and compliance data are deeply integrated into national security, regulatory, and digitalization frameworks. This role requires a sophisticated navigator of the public sector landscape who can translate complex policy mandates into technological solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Segment Strategy & GTM: Execute a multi-year growth plan for the Singapore Public Sector, identifying white-space opportunities in statutory boards not yet utilizing Handshakes.
- Policy Alignment: Align Handshakes roadmap with the Singapore Government's Smart Nation initiatives, evolving AML/CFT regulatory and cross-border landscapes.
- Procurement Excellence: Lead high-stakes RFP/tender responses; manage Gebiz procurement cycles with the necessary security clearance requirements.
- C-Suite Relationship Management: Cultivate deep-rooted relationships with Directors and Officers within the government bodies.
- Anticipatory Positioning: Deeply analyze Singapore's Whole-of-Government (WOG) strategies to predict future procurement needs in AML, fraud detection, and corporate transparency.
- Industry Drivers & Trends: Monitor legislative shifts (e.g., changes to the ACRA Act or MHA directives) and proactively align Handshakes AI roadmap to meet these requirements before they are tendered.
- Strategic Influence: Act as a consultant to government stakeholders, educating them on how AI can solve tomorrow's problems in cross-border investigation and entity linking.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Net Retention Rate (NRR): Driving growth through proactive enterprise-wide licensing.
- New Business ACV: Revenue from new government entities and statutory boards.
- Strategic Alignment Score: Measure of Handshakes inclusion in government Future-Proofing workgroups or pilot programs.
- Workflow Integration Score: Qualitative measure of Mission Critical dependency on Handshakes data.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Public Policy, Business or relevant disciplines.
- Experience: 8+ years in enterprise sales, with a significant track record selling to the Singapore
- Domain Expertise: Mastery of Singapore's regulatory landscape and the ability to articulate tech-policy intersections to government officers.
