Introduction:

The Director, MR & Consultancy role is a client facing/team leader role. You must have at least 8 years of proven experience in client development, team management and demonstrate your capabilities to drive business growth through sourcing new clients and also to lead a team to service and grow an existing client base. The ideal candidate require a balance of proactive relationship management, consultative selling, and a results-oriented mindset to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive prospecting effort to build new business and long-term relationships within the market research agency and consulting sectors.
  • Lead and provide support to the SEA team to manage existing client base and hunt for up sell and cross-sell expansion opportunities
  • Keep a pulse of client relationship and projects via conducting regular, proactive contact both in-person and virtually across assigned sales territories;
  • Represent Toluna at client meetings and industry events, contributing to our visibility and thought leadership within the sector
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and solutions demonstrations, write proposals, and provide bids to clients
  • Team player willing to flex roles and responsibilities with internal team to meet client's needs

Your profile:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within the market research industry, ideally in an insights, data or technology focus role.
  • Must have an established client network with a proven track record of year-on-year growth
  • Comfortable interacting with high profile clients, with experience negotiating high revenue with top global agencies.
  • Must be able to consult and advise clients by suggesting methodologies and Toluna solutions to supply and achieve the gainful insights clients require in a clear and concise manner.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and creative in addressing client needs and business challenges.
  • Experience working cross function with internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of & strength in pipeline management and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to positively influence internal teams through persuasion, negotiation and consensus building.
  • Prior experience managing and developing junior team member is essential.
