A leading social-first creative agency is looking for a Account Directorto lead relationships with some of the world's most recognised brands and help shape the future of modern marketing across APAC.

The Role

You'll sit at the centre of major client relationships across APAC, partnering closely with strategy, creative, creator, and production teams to deliver social and content work that cuts through.

This is far more than a traditional account management role. They want someone who can challenge thinking, spot opportunities early, influence senior stakeholders, and bring energy and commercial instinct into every conversation.

What You'll Be Doing

Client Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior regional and global clients
  • Act as a strategic advisor across social, content, creator, and brand strategy
  • Lead complex stakeholder conversations with confidence and credibility
  • Anticipate opportunities, solve problems quickly, and bring proactive thinking to accounts

Commercial Growth

  • Drive organic account growth across existing clients
  • Identify upsell opportunities across campaigns, markets, and services
  • Partner with creative and strategy teams to shape compelling growth ideas and proposals
  • Own account health, commercial performance, forecasting, and profitability

Team & Culture

  • Lead and mentor a growing client services team
  • Help raise standards across client experience, delivery, and strategic thinking
  • Foster a collaborative, ambitious, high-performance environment internally

Strategy & Social Thinking

  • Bring strong instincts around what works across social and creator ecosystems
  • Use insights, performance data, and cultural understanding to shape recommendations
  • Contribute to broader agency growth, innovation, and strategic direction

What They're Looking For

  • 10+ years experience across creative, social, media, or marketing environments
  • Proven experience leading major regional or global accounts
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, creator marketing, and content ecosystems
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing accounts and driving revenue
  • Confident communicator comfortable operating with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Experience working with Australian-based clients and strong knowledge of the Australian market is highly advantageous
