Job Description

SUMMARY

Are you passionate about science and sales Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Development Representative to support sales growth in the Microbial Solutions space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about science-driven solutions. You'll work closely with Account Managers to drive business development and support customer needs across a designated territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to achieve shared sales goals and manage territory opportunities.
  • Handle routine business inquiries, generate quotes, and support pricing renewals.
  • Qualify leads from trade shows and marketing campaigns.
  • Engage with unexplored segments of the territory to develop new customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and close sales.
  • Support contract lab inquiries and lead special projects (e.g., dormant account reactivation, product lifecycle campaigns).
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce preferred).
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with the Commercial team.
  • Partner with Marketing to drive promotions and assess campaign ROI.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and internal meetings as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in MS Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and customer service capabilities.
