Work Location:
Willing to travel to other branches when required (Bukit Timah Plaza, Century Square, Oasis Terraces, Parkway Centre, Thomson Plaza)
Work Days:
Tuesday - Saturday: Able to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend
Able to work on selected weekday nights
(2 weekdays 10am-7pm, 2 weeknights 12.30pm-9.30pm)
(1 weekend 8am-6pm)
Job Summary:
To plan, lead, organise and oversee the teaching and classroom delivery to achieve desired learning outcomes, and organise corporate activities that contribute to the success of the organisation and increase customer engagement.
To set the framework for the centre's curriculum and pedagogy, ensuring that it is in alignment with MOE guidelines, the centre's values to create an enriching and effective learning experience for Learning Point students.
Job Responsibilities:
To monitor and ensure lessons are delivered according to expected standards and desired outcomes through
- regular class observations
- regular trainings or workshops conducted for teachers and associate teachers
(E.g. Value-added marking workshops, classroom management, parents management etc)
To maintain close communications with parents through
- meet parents meetings
- workshops for parents
- other written correspondence, e.g. newsletters
To conduct regular review sessions with staff team to appraise and feedback on work performance and approval of leave teachers
To provide leadership to lead curriculum innovation, curriculum planning, curriculum design and research
To stay current with curricular trends and changes in Singapore and to ensure changes in MOE guidelines are integrated promptly into the centre's curriculum
To plan, research and create innovative programme/materials that are in alignment with MOE guidelines and create an enriching experience for the centre's students
Collaborate with the marketing manager to provide contents to develop marketing materials to promote a strong and unique branding of the centre's programme
To actively scan the internal and external environments to identify potential problems and opportunities which can be addressed or capitalised to maximise the students learning experiences
To shape a culture of high competence, commitment and connectivity
Any other duties may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years managing a team of teachers
Minimum 5 years teaching
Proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheets and Microsoft Office
Good team player with ability to work with minimal supervision
Prior experience in education industry would be advantageous
