The Opportunity

A well-established education institution in Singapore is seeking a Dean at a point of genuine change, with a clear mandate to raise academic ambition. This is a rare opening within an institution that is stable, well-resourced, and expanding its reach beyond Singapore.

This will suit a leader currently running a school or faculty - and ready to undertake the academic pillar of an entire institution.

Responsibilities

Reporting into executive leadership, the Dean holds end-to-end ownership of academic strategy, curriculum quality, and faculty leadership across the programme portfolio, together with the divisional budget. You will set and uphold the quality assurance and governance frameworks that underpin the institution's standing, leading accreditation exercises with local regulators and international bodies. Curriculum sits at the core of the mandate - reviewing and strengthening the portfolio, including the continued build-out of blended and online delivery, and the thoughtful adoption of AI, so that programmes remain genuinely relevant to graduate outcomes. You will lead a sizeable academic body through the academic leaders reporting to you, and shape the academic dimension of the institution's growth beyond Singapore.

Requirements

You are doctorally qualified (PhD, EdD, or DBA) with senior academic leadership experience, including responsibility for other academic managers. You bring depth in academic governance, quality assurance, and curriculum design. Singapore or international accreditation exposure is a bonus. Above all, you carry genuine executive presence: articulate, credible, and comfortable in front of boards, partners, and regulators.
