6G Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 6G Welder to perform high-quality welding works in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and safety standards. The successful candidate must be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 6G welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, WPS, and technical specifications.
• Carry out welding, fabrication, fitting, and repair works.
• Ensure weld quality meets project and inspection requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections and maintain good workmanship.
• Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with WSH requirements.
• Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and lifting of equipment and materials when required.
• Support project activities and complete assigned tasks within schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant 6G welding experience.
• Valid 6G welding certification preferred.
• Able to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiar with WSH requirements and safe work practices.
• Physically fit and medically fit to perform manual work, including lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Team player with a positive work attitude.
