Job Description & Requirements
Job Description
. Conduct research for 6G (3GPP Release 21) with focus on Layer 1/Layer 2 technologies, study related technical issues, and work on novel features or relevant techniques to create patents for inclusion into future 6G standards.
. Be part of Panasonic delegation team to attend 3GPP standardization conferences, submit and discuss technical contributions with other meeting delegates.
. Work closely with Panasonic team in monitoring standard development progress and technology trend for exploring future research directions.
. Conduct simulations to support and/or evaluate research work, if applicable.
Requirements
. Passion and deep interest in mobile communication technologies, with a desire to be at the forefront of research and standardization in this field.
. Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline, with wireless communication background
. Familiarity with mobile communication system such as LTE and/or 5G, and its system architecture, Physical (PHY), and/or Medium Access Control (MAC) layers, will be a plus.
. Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
. Self-motivated, proactive, good team player
