6164 - Solar Project Engineer [ Energy Industry Renewable Products ]

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, site feasibility, solar system design, and complete execution.
• Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of commercial and utility-scale solar power systems.
• Design the arrangements of the solar panels for Rooftop and other various supported electrical equipment and selection of cables for plant including layouts and schematic diagrams and calculation of technical sizing, BOQ/BOM.
• Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
• Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
• End to end execution of solar projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field
• Prefer two (2) years of relevant work experience
• Preferably with Energy Industry or Renewable Products background
• AutoCAD, PVSyst or Helioscope skills preferred
