About the Role
Design Engineer / Assistant Design Manager to lead and support geotechnical and ground improvement design across high-profile building and infrastructure projects.
You will:
- Lead geotechnical design for ERSS, piling, deep foundations, soil stabilization, and ground improvement works
- Mentor and guide a talented team of design engineers and technical staff
- Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and technical submissions
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, clients, and statutory authorities (BCA, LTA) to resolve design challenges
- Ensure compliance with Singapore standards, global best practices, and innovative engineering techniques
- Support tender teams with technical input, design methodologies, and preliminary assessments
- Drive quality assurance, innovation, and continuous improvement within the design team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in geotechnical design, focusing on ground improvement, ERSS, piling, and deep excavation works
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, temporary works, and foundation designs
