Due to continued growth and increasing focus on supply chain security, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced security professional to join their regional team based in Singapore.
Your new role
As the Regional Supply Chain Security Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining security strategies, policies and programmes across the Asia Pacific region. Working closely with country operations, customer-facing teams and external service providers, you will ensure the highest standards of cargo security, regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement regional supply chain security strategies in alignment with local regulations, industry standards and customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain security programmes covering warehouse operations, transportation networks and high-value cargo management.
- Lead incident management investigations, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
- Support claims documentation, reporting and security-related customer enquiries.
- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments of carriers, warehouses and third-party logistics providers.
- Manage relationships with security vendors and transport partners to ensure adherence to internal security standards.
- Drive implementation of industry accreditations and security frameworks including TAPA, AEO and other relevant programmes.
- Support regional Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Emergency Response Planning (ERP) initiatives.
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to support customer tenders, onboarding projects and contract implementations.
- Deliver security awareness programmes and training to employees across all levels of the organisation.
- Promote best practices and foster a strong security culture across multiple countries and business units.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess a blend of operational logistics knowledge, security expertise and stakeholder management capability.
You will ideally have:
- Degree qualification in Security Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Risk Management, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in supply chain security, logistics security, corporate security or transportation security within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of TAPA, AEO, CTPAT or similar supply chain security standards.
- Experience conducting security audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of warehouse, transportation and high-value cargo security controls.
- Knowledge of business continuity management and crisis response frameworks.
- Experience managing external vendors and working with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel regionally when required.
Professional certifications such as PSP, CPP, PCI, ISO 28000, CBCI or equivalent will be viewed favourably.
