Internship Program Overview:

Project Title:

IPQA Nexus Enhancements: Unified Repository, Automated Testcase Intelligence & Exit Framework Development

Project Objective:

The objective of this project is to enhance the IPQA automation ecosystem by standardizing testcase management, enabling intelligent testcase generation driven by PDK updates, and streamlining key operational workflows such as temporary waiver updates. The project also aims to build a robust IPQA Exit Criteria Framework to ensure consistent quality gates across all IP QA validation stages. Ultimately, the project will improve efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and establish scalable and futureready QA automation processes.

Project Outcome:

The project is expected to give the intern hands-on experience in QA workflow automation, database design, and rule-based testcase generation, while building expertise in PDK-driven validation flows and end-to-end project ownership-from requirements gathering to implementation and stakeholder presentation. These experiences aim to strengthen technical, automation, and project management skills, with contributions integrated into the IPQA Nexus ecosystem for meaningful impact. For the company, anticipated benefits include improved efficiency through automation, enhanced accuracy and traceability, streamlined workflows, and standardized quality gates via the IPQA Exit Criteria Framework. The solutions developed will also provide long-term scalability, forming a foundation for future IPQA automation strategies and technology node expansions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Project Onboarding & Requirement Understanding

  • Design of Unified Testcase Repository

  • PDK-Driven Testcase Generation Logic

  • Analyze PDK update formats (markers, parameter changes, rules)

  • Temporary Waiver Automation Workflow

  • IPQA Exit Criteria Framework

  • Final Integration

  • Testing & Presentation

  • Prepare final documentation and present outcomes to stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Securityrequirements,and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Semiconductor Technology or any other related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, Shell scripting, Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) for designing repository structures

Willing to learn complex semiconductor QA processes. Desire to work on meaningful, production-impacting automation projects. Ownership mindset-ability to take initiative and drive a subproject end-to-end.
