Internship Program Overview:

Project Title:

CVD tool optimization for higher productivity (MVA)

Project Objective:

Fleets of equipment (tools) are what you get to see when you enter into a wafer fabrication plant. They are the machines behind the fabrication of semiconductor wafers. The performance of the tools determines a plant's throughput. Continuous actions are carried out to improve the tool conditions for a higher productivity!

Project Outcome:

The intern will be tasked to carry out experiments and analyze data in the aim to improve the tool performance. A detailed report with concluding results is to be furnished. At the end of the internship, an overall report to summarize their learning experience with recommendations for improvement is required.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Learn the overview of the wafer fabrication process

• Basis understanding of Multivariate Analysis (MVA) - Purpose/function of this process module - Different types of processes within the module - Recipes & controls used in this process

• Given a Problem statement and objective of the project, to complete this

• Execute Design of Experiments (DOE) and perform process characterization

• Analyze data and optimize the process.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Securityrequirements,and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Mechatronic or any other related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
