Citi Markets - FX Institutional Sales Support Specialist
Within Markets, the support specialist will assist the FX Institutional Sales team with the day-to-day operations of the sales franchise.
Such tasks include:
- Assistance with booking & amending FX cash/ FX options trade tickets including pre-trade, live deal execution, & post-trade processes
- Support with settlement related processes & issues
- Work with onboarding team/ banking for the onboarding of clients
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Middle Office and Operations in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Handling of daily credit checks & managing alerts
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
- Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Experience in Middle Office or a Support function and in-depth knowledge of the various systems
- Superior attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Knowledge of Citi's infrastructure is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent
- Strong understanding of FX products, financial information, operations & controls
- Ability to work under pressure in a highly professional Front Office environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, experience in working at senior levels
- Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a global firm
