Our Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship Program is an 8-week (June 15 August 7, 2026) internship designed to provide you with an exciting, supportive and fun experience which mirrors life as an Analyst at BlackRock. Youll have real-world responsibilities during the summer, in addition to participating in professional development, networking and social events.

The Summer Internship Program acts as a feeder to the 2027 Full-Time Graduate Analyst Program.

About Aladdin Client Service

Aladdin is an operating system for investment managers that seeks to connect the information, people, and technology needed to manage money in real time. The Aladdin platform combines risk analytics with portfolio management, trading, compliance, and investment operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision-making, effective risk management, efficient trading, and operational scale. Aladdin is used by a community of over 200 institutional clients around the world, including BlackRock. There are over 100,000 end users of Aladdin globally. The team is comprised of 1500+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

  • The Aladdin Client Services (ACS) Team tackles the hardest, most sophisticated problems in FinTech. We utilize our in-depth understanding of Aladdin, our clients businesses, and the investment management process to provide world-class customer service to our rapidly growing, global client base. We are a diverse team and bring our unique skills and experiences to the table, but we all share a serious passion for solving tough problems and keeping our clients happy.

As an Intern, you will

  • Answer questions and help our clients run their businesses on Aladdin: You will solve problems that matter, making direct and measurable difference to our clients. In the process, you will build technical, industry, and relationship skills. Have a good understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives and Alternatives products and how they are modelled and traded in Aladdin.
  • Use technology to solve problems: Use technical skills (like SQL, UNIX) to ensure the accuracy of large analytical data sets, automate processes with scripts and efficiently query information from a vast database.
  • Educate users, leverage service insights, and relay user experience feedback to improve the customer experience and our product: We believe that the best customer service is proactive, not reactive. We are students of our own data and engage with our clients to keep problems from arising, rather than dealing only with issues that are brought to our attention.
  • Work on a global team, with a local presence: Our support model follows the sun if a market is open somewhere in the world, so are we! You will get to work with teams across the world, while still engaging with a vibrant local team.

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills, trouble-shooting skills and analytical thinking
  • A strong interest in client facing, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high self-assurance, positive attitude, and drive
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor approach to all corporate levels
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking skills, and an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions, and implement changes
  • Intermediate programming skills such as SQL, UNIX, Python
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple incidents on a varying level of priority
  • Ability to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently
