Our Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship Program is an 8-week (June 15 August 7, 2026) internship designed to provide you with an exciting, supportive and fun experience which mirrors life as an Analyst at BlackRock. Youll have real-world responsibilities during the summer, in addition to participating in professional development, networking and social events.

The Summer Internship Program acts as a feeder to the 2027 Full-Time Graduate Analyst Program.

About Compliance

Compliance ensures the firm satisfies its regulatory obligations, protects its reputation, and provides advice to and partners with the business to meet our clients expectations. We are responsible for implementing a robust governance and oversight framework by presiding over and participating in relevant oversight committees, issue escalations, and measuring overall efficacy.

We identify and mitigate potential reputational and regulatory risks by developing processes and controls across BlackRocks various activities. In addition to that, we perform risk-based monitoring and testing of key compliance controls.

As a Summer Intern, you will

• Provide compliance and regulatory advice to internal clients
• Provide advice and guidance with respect to compliance with local, regional and global laws, regulations, best practices and BlackRocks policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Financial Crime, Legal and Risk & Quantitative Analysis functions in the provision of advice and guidance to investment teams
• Participate in global and/or regional compliance initiatives to ensure global best practices and consistency including in the regional coordination of tasks
• Review marketing and distribution materials
• Assist in maintaining the integrity of BlackRocks information barriers
• Monitor local and regional regulatory developments and evaluating their impact on the business

What capabilities are we looking for

• A passion in understanding the regulatory environment and various asset management compliance programs
• An understanding of financial crime such as AML and Anti Bribery and Corruption issues
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate with internal and external business stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
