Our Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship Program is an 8-week (June 15 August 7, 2026) internship designed to provide you with an exciting, supportive and fun experience which mirrors life as an Analyst at BlackRock. Youll have real-world responsibilities during the summer, in addition to participating in professional development, networking and social events.

The Summer Internship Program acts as a feeder to the 2027 Full-Time Graduate Analyst Program.

As a summer intern, you will...

• Partner with the team and business leaders to drive to completion strategic projects, including complex client and technology mandates and commercial opportunities.
• Develop project objectives with measurable goals, roadmaps and execution plans.
• Help manage communication to stakeholders and management
• Quickly learn relevant content and contribute to current state analysis and future state design.
• Advise business partners on workflow improvements to get the most out of our technology.
• Identify areas for improvement in business processes and technology tools.
• Simplify complex topics and create innovative solutions.
• Ensure solutions are fully tested and raise and help resolve issues that put BlackRock and our clients at risk.
• Maintain a One BlackRock perspective and deliver results, which are beneficial for both individual businesses and the firm as a whole.

What capabilities are we looking for

• Curiosity about financial services regulation and current affairs
• Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated ideas, both in writing and verbally
• Good judgment and outstanding ethics; the desire to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative and ambitious environment
• Comfortable working with and making sense of large amounts of data; experience with big data / visualization tools
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing the most pressing and impactful matters
• Knowledge and understanding of investment management products and asset types, including but not limited to ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income, equities, derivatives, and alternatives.
• Interest in business process analysis, design, and implementation.
• Enjoy navigating a complex matrix of accountable stakeholders and global teams in multiple time zones.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to clearly articulate objectives and influence outcomes
• Technical aptitude, understanding technology in a business context.
• Experience with AI (artificial intelligence) / ML (machine learning), including large language models, OpenAI and Azure AI solutions a plus

Undergraduate or masters students of all academic backgrounds graduating between September 2026 and August 2027.
