1 YEAR CONTRACT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST (RENEWABLE)

Our client is a leading Commodities MNC

Job scope:

• Anticipate and interpret financial information and related data
• Perform financial review and provide commentary analysis of results to group.
• Providing visibility to key process indicators and robust reporting for business decision making.
• Communicate financial results to the business on a quarterly basis.
• Ensure compliance of organizational guidelines, policies, and requirements.
• Act as primary point of contact for selected Business Unit
• Perform and coordinate tax and statutory reporting activities for the Business Units to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepares and manages various reports used to show account performance including exposures, and to ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls.
• Other Ad hoc projects

Qualification & qualities:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
• 3 - 4 years of audit experience in commodities industry plus 2 to 3 years of commercial experience
• Experience in Mark to market and US GAAP is a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills

Salary ranges from $6000-$9000 with fixed completion bonus
