Job Summary

You will manage tender processes for fire protection projects, including document review, cost estimation, client communication, and contract administration to support successful project acquisition and execution.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily tender invitations and respond promptly to client and customer emails to secure project opportunities
Handle client phone inquiries related to tender processes to provide accurate and timely information
Analyze tender documents such as drawings and specifications to prepare accurate bids
Develop bills of quantity and request supplier pricing for specialized equipment to ensure competitive quotations
Prepare sales checklists, cost estimations, quotations, and other tender-related documents to support proposal submissions
Adjust and resubmit costing as required to meet client or project requirements
Submit tender proposals punctually to maintain company competitiveness
Create slide presentations for tender proposals to effectively communicate project value
Organize and maintain tender documents on the server following ISO standard folder structures for easy retrieval and compliance
Attend tender briefings, site surveys, and tender interviews at job sites to gather information and represent the company
Ensure Contract Letters of Award are fully executed and distributed to relevant parties and internal departments for project commencement
Conduct bill of quantity measurements and trace or sketch drawings at job sites when necessary to verify project details

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification
Minimum 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Fire Protection
Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software for accurate design interpretation and documentation
Ability to work independently to manage tender processes and meet deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Immediate availability or ability to commence work at short notice
