Our client is a global digital asset financial services and infrastructure group, headquartered in Singapore, with a licensed and regulated footprint across Asia, Europe and North America. Services span custody, trading, asset and wealth management, liquidity and financing, and tokenised real-world assets for institutional and professional investors.

They are hiring a CMO or HOD level to own brand, PR, content and growth strategies to turn that into measurable product adoption. Reporting to the COO / CEO, the person manage a team of around 10 people. The role can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

What you'll own

PR, Branding & Content

Brand strategy end-to-end: positioning, core narrative, and the communications architecture that carries it across markets
PR and communications: media relationships, industry placements, spokesperson programme, and crisis readiness
Content and social matrix: website, social channels, KOL partnerships, community — building both awareness and genuine engagement
Campaigns and events: industry summits, brand moments, product launches, online and offline
Compliance-aware communications: staying close to the regulatory picture so every piece of outbound content holds up

Growth & Operations

Own the acquisition-to-activation funnel: registration, KYC completion, first deposit, first transaction, knowing where users drop and closing those gaps
Drive adoption of new and existing product lines (trading, wealth, RWA and upcoming launches) through go-to-market planning, in-app and lifecycle campaigns, and targeted user education
Build the growth marketing engine: performance and paid channels, SEO, referral and affiliate programmes, campaign incentives — tested, measured, and scaled or killed on evidence
Own CRM and lifecycle: onboarding journeys, reactivation of dormant users, retention and repeat-trading campaigns across email, push and community
Segment and speak differently to retail, professional and institutional audiences, working with BD on channel expansion and institutional / HNW reach
Localise for market: entry and expansion campaigns tuned to how users in each region actually discover and trust a platform
Own the numbers — funnel conversion, CAC, deposit and trading volume attributable to marketing, ROI by channel — and report them to the leadership team
Partner with product and data to close the loop between campaign, product experience and user behaviour

What we're looking for

10+ years in Branding, Marketing and Growth, with at least 3 years managing teams and prior experience at Director level
Proven track record taking brand strategy from plan to execution, PR, content marketing, social, and events all within scope
Demonstrable growth results: user acquisition, activation and retention numbers you personally moved, with the funnel logic and channel economics behind them
Cross-market experience across Hong Kong, Singapore or international markets, with a real feel for how user and media ecosystems differ between them
Working understanding of crypto and its regulatory environment, with the risk instinct and compliance sensitivity that comes with it
Strong project management, cross-functional influence, and the composure to operate at pace
Degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field

Bonus: marketing and brand experience inside Web3 project or digital asset manager; an existing media, KOL or community network in the industry; exposure to institutional / HNW brand outreach or investor relations; hands-on with growth analytics and attribution tooling.
