This pivotal opportunity enables an actuarial specialist to step away from routine model execution into a high-impact technical assurance role.

Spearhead independent reviews of direct life pricing structures, profit testing models, and reinsurance treaty terms to evaluate commercial viability.
Assess reserve sufficiency, foundational assumption setting, and control frameworks across traditional life portfolios.
Identify technical exposure areas across underwriting and product development functions to preserve balance sheet integrity.
Translate complex actuarial analyses into actionable strategic guidance for executive leadership and the audit committee.
Enhance internal assurance frameworks by implementing technical governance standards across core actuarial activities.

About the manager/team

Skills and experience required

Near-qualified or fully qualified actuary credential (FSA, FIA, FIAA, or local equivalent).
Proven experience within life insurance pricing, reinsurance arrangements, or reinsurer client advisory.
Strong foundational knowledge in traditional actuarial areas such as valuation, asset-liability management, or product development.
Strategic orientation with a desire to pivot from routine model production into high-visibility advisory and review work.
Effective communication skills with a track record of articulating technical concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders.
