Job Summary

The Social Media Intern will support social media content planning and execution, video production, campaign management and performance tracking to enhance client brand presence in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule social media content calendars to align with client campaigns and platform best practices
Create engaging social media posts and visual assets using design tools to increase audience interaction
Film and edit videos of varying lengths tailored for different social media platforms
Manage social media campaigns including meta ads to optimize reach and engagement
Write clear and adaptable copy for diverse audiences across social channels
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to prepare reports that guide future campaigns
Assist with digital marketing initiatives and support PR and campaign activities to maintain consistent brand messaging
Collaborate with team members during internal brainstorming and client meetings to contribute creative ideas
Organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced agency environment while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Interest or coursework in communications, marketing, media or related fields
Prior internship or project experience in social media or public relations
Proficiency with major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Familiarity with content creation and design tools like Canva and image editors
Experience with video filming and editing, including use of cameras and editing software
Strong written and verbal communication skills to express ideas clearly and adapt messaging
