Position Summary

We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Executive /Assistant Manager, Sales & Marketing to drive the growth of our retail business while strengthening RIEDEL's position as the world's leading premium wine glass brand.

Reporting to Riedel Business Manager, you will be responsible for growing assigned retail accounts, building strong relationships with retail buyers, executing trade marketing initiatives, and strengthening RIEDEL's brand presence across retail and digital touchpoints.

This role is best suited for candidates with proven experience in Retail Sales, Key Account Management and Trade Marketing within consumer products or retail brands.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Sales & Key Account Management

Manage and grow sales across department stores, wine shops and selected retail partners.
Build strong relationships with retail buyers and key decisionmakers to drive long term business growth.
Develop account plans and identify opportunities to increase product listings, distribution and sell through.
Conduct regular business reviews and negotiate promotional activities, merchandising opportunities and retail programmes.
Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of customer initiatives.

2. Commercial Planning & Performance

Prepare sales forecasts, promotional calendars and retail sales plans.
Monitor sales performance by account, product category and sales channel.
Analyse sell-through and inventory performance to identify growth opportunities.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend commercial improvements.
Prepare business reviews, sales reports and market insights for management.

3. Trade Marketing & Brand Execution

Plan and execute retail promotions, trade marketing campaigns, product launches and seasonal activities.
Coordinate promotional calendars with retail partners and internal stakeholders.
Manage merchandising standards, POS materials and instore brand visibility.
Ensure consistent execution of RIEDEL's premium brand presentation across all retail touchpoints.
Work closely with promoters and retail partners to improve customer engagement and retail execution.

4. Digital Marketing & Consumer Engagement

Manage RIEDEL Singapore's social media platforms and content calendar.
Develop content to support retail campaigns, product launches and brand awareness.
Plan CRM communications and customer engagement initiatives.
Work closely with Ecommerce Lead to align retail campaigns and online merchandising.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement and sales.

5. Events & Brand Education

Organise and conduct RIEDEL Glass Experience workshops and consumer tasting events.
Support exhibitions, retail activations and trade events.
Represent RIEDEL professionally during customer education and promotional events.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in Retail Sales, Key Account Management, Trade Marketing or Brand Management.
Proven experience managing retail accounts, preferably department stores, specialty retailers, modern trade or retail chains.
Strong hands-on Trade Marketing experience, including promotional planning, merchandising, product launches and instore activations.
Experience working directly with retail buyers and key decisionmakers.

Important Note

This is a commercially focused Retail Sales and Trade Marketing role. Applicants without relevant experience in Retail Sales, Key Account Management and Trade Marketing will not be considered.
