Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design & Pursuit Support

Lead the end-to-end solutioning of Finance Managed Services deals (F&A BPO/BPS) including scoping, pricing, operating model design, and commercial structuring.

Develop compelling, client-ready proposals, RFP responses, and solution presentations in collaboration with sales, commercial, and delivery teams.

Design target operating models (TOMs) across core finance towers: Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Treasury.

Define service delivery frameworks — onshore/offshore/nearshore models, headcount mix, SLAs/KPIs, and tooling/technology stack.

Conduct solution workshops, orals/presentations, and client due diligence sessions during the pursuit lifecycle.

2. Transition Management & Delivery

Lead and govern the transition of Finance Managed Services contracts from deal-sign to steady-state operations, ensuringon-time, on-budget, and within-scope delivery.

Develop and execute detailed Transition Project Plans (TPPs) including knowledge transfer (KT), process documentation, talent onboarding, and governance setup.

Manage stakeholder communication — client CFOs, Controllers, Finance Heads, and internal delivery/operationsleads.

Drive risk identification and mitigation during transitions, ensuring business continuity and zero-disruption commitments are met.

Establish operational readiness criteria and sign-off mechanisms before steady-state handover.

Oversee parallel run, mock run, and go-live phases ensuring quality benchmarks are achieved.

3. Transformation & Innovation

Embed automation, AI/GenAI, and intelligent process automation (IPA) levers into solution and transition blueprints to drive cost efficiency and quality outcomes.

Partner with transformation and technology teams to incorporate tools such as SAP, Oracle,BlackLine, Workday, Coupa, and RPA/AI platforms into managed service offerings.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities post-transition and support delivery teams in achieving contracted outcomes.

4. Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with client finance leadership and key procurement stakeholders.

Lead governance meetings, business reviews, and escalation management during the transition period.

Act as a single point of accountability (SPOC) for client-facing solution and transition commitments.

5. Practice Development & Thought Leadership

Contribute to developing reusable solution accelerators, transition playbooks, and pricing models for the Finance Managed Services practice.

Mentor and guide junior solutioning and transition team members.

Stay current with industry trends in Finance Shared Services, GBS (Global Business Services), and F&A outsourcing benchmarks.

Mandatory skill sets:

12+ yearsof overall experience in Finance & Accounting with a minimum of5–7 years in Finance Managed Services / F&A BPO / Shared Servicesin a solutioning or transition role.

Demonstrated experience inend-to-end deal solutioningfor Finance Managed Services engagements (RFP responses, commercial modeling, operating model design).

Strong hands-on experience intransition managementacross F&A towers (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A) for mid-to-large-scale outsourcing contracts.

Deep understanding offinance processes, controls, and accounting principles(GAAP/IFRS).

Strong knowledge ofERP platforms(SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion/EBS) andfinance technology tools(BlackLine,Trintech, Coupa,Highradius, etc.).

Proven ability tomanage multiple transitions simultaneouslyacross geographies and time zones.

Excellentstakeholder management, communication, and executive presentationskills.

Strong commercial acumen — experience working withdealfinancials, pricing models, and margin optimization.

Preferred skill sets:

Prior experience in aBig 4 / Tier-1 consulting firm or leading BPS/BPO organization(Accenture, Genpact, EXL, WNS, Capita, Wipro, IBM, HCL, etc.).

Exposure tointelligent automation (RPA, AI/ML, GenAI)integration within Finance Managed Services solutions.

Experience withGBS / SSC design and setupengagements.

Familiarity withIFRS/US GAAP reporting environmentsacross industries such as BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Energy, or Healthcare.

Relevant certifications:PMP / Prince2, ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).

Experience working withglobal/multi-geography clientsand managingcross-cultural delivery teams.
